• Eng. Svetoslav Stoev, PhD Student in TMM Dept. at FIT: the Award of EUREKA Foundation for a Young Inventor of 2016 (2017)

• Asst. Prof. PhD Eng. Yavor Sofronov: the Award “Young Engineer of 2014-2015” of Federation of Scientific and Technical Unions in Bulgaria (2016)

• Prof. PhD Eng. Georgi Todorov, PhD Eng. Borislav Romanov and Assoc. Prof. PhD Eng. Konstantin Kamberov (FIT), PhD Eng. Velichko Peykov (FIT, SPARKY Eltos) and Eng. Nikolay Ganchev (SPARKY Eltos) - awarded "Inventor of the Year" 2015 from BPO in the "Engineering & Construction" (2016)

• Prof. PhD Eng. Georgi Todorov, Head of „CAD/CAM/CAE in Industry“ lab. at FIT of TU-Sofia: honored by ICT Media and newspaper Computerworld with the award for "Innovation in the development of research and its application in business" (2016)

• Assoc. Prof. PhD Eng. Lachezar Stoev, FIT - awarded "Inventor of the Year" 2014 from BPO in the "Engineering & Construction" (2015)

• Prof. PhD Eng. Georgi Todorov: inscribed in the Golden Book of Discoverers and Inventors of Patent Office of Republic of Bulgaria (2015)

• Prof. PhD Eng. Georgi Todorov, Dean of the FIT, awarded the prize "Golden Book" FOR CONTRIBUTION TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF BULGARIAN SCIENCE (2012)

• Asst. Prof. PhD Eng. Svetoslav Savchev: the Award “Young Engineer of 2011” of Federation of Scientific and Technical Unions in Bulgaria (2012)

• Collaborative project between FIT laboratory “CAD, CAM, CAE in Industry”, led by Prof. Georgi Todorov and company SPARKY ELTOS in field of hand rotary hammers was presented at the International Autumn Technical Fair Plovdiv 2011

• Laboratory "CAD/CAM/CAE in Industry," Faculty of Industrial Technology, Headed by Prof. PhD Eng. Georgi Todorov: the Award for Research Organization for 2009 of the Foundation “Applied Studies and Communications” in Partnership with Ministry of Economics, Energy and Tourism and Mission of World Bank in Bulgaria (2010)

• Prof. PhD Eng. Georgi Todorov: the Special Award of National Science Fund in Field of Applied Research for 2009 of MEYS of R Bulgaria (as a part of the Annual National Research Awards “Pytagoras”) (2010)
